Winter Wonder Nails

I felt it was about time to get in the holiday spirit with some wintery nails to kick off December. I was inspired by a few different nail designs on Pinterest (because where else do you find the database of all things nail arty?) and I’m pretty happy with the results. I tried to take some step by step pictures in case anyone wants to try replicating this for themselves!

Cut up a triangular makeup sponge and put your nail polish on it to create the ombre/snow look. This part can get a little tricky, I suggest trying it on a paper towel or something a few times before your nails. Also have patience, and be ready to maybe start over on a nail or two. For further explanation here is a video tutorial.

Then, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous and have a thinner nail polish brush, go ahead and try a snowflake! Mine certainly isn’t perfect, but I wanted a little something else to go along with the theme.

Boom! All finished! Happy December πŸ™‚
