Flashing back to an old shoot this Friday that just never got posted!

I love this whole look so much. As you can see from the title, I personally think it has some DSC_1382Audrey Hepburn hints to it; though far be it from me to actually be able to match her level of style and class.

I am wearing one of my favorite Dear Creatures dresses; it fits so well and always makes me feel stylish. Also, I think it’s a fun surprise that the print is actually a bunch of leaves, rather than polka dots like they appear to be from afar.

The look also contains one of my favorite accessories – the vintage Dooney & Bourke bag. It’s so simple and beautiful; plus theres a duck! Speaking of animals, the llama bracelet is by far one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I have a small obsession with llamas, so getting to wear them (in the non-animial cruelty sense of the term) makes me thrilled as can be. Seriously, I want llama print everything.

I strongly recommend everyone owns at least one pair of heeled ankle booties, because oh my goodness they go with just about everything. You put them with baggy and hole ridden jeans and they’re magically fashionable. Seriously. They’re magic. Go find some immediately, they don’t have to be expensive, I promise. I leave you with that task on this Friday; or whatever day you happen to be reading this. As I become wiser with age (ha), I’m coming to realize more and more how important those “staple pieces” are to a wardrobe. I’m also learning what exactly those pieces are, and I gladly share them with you 🙂

I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and… I believe in miracles. – Audrey Hepburn
