Spruce Up for Spring

Spring cleaning leads to spring decorating leads to happy springtime feelings! Also a not-to-miss Giveaway at the bottom of the post ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve lived in my current apartment for over three years and I’ve never bothered to do anything about my boring bathroom…UNTIL NOWWWW! ๐Ÿ˜€ I have happily agreed to be a brand affiliate for Tidy Cats, and it’s inspired a fun new look for my bathroom…

BEFORING

That’s a combination of “before” and “boring”… it has nothing to do with “beef” ๐Ÿ˜›

Look at this terrible wall… something had to be done. I realized I had a plethora of floral themed DIY crafts I’ve made over the years. And that gave me my inspiration for a springtime floral bathroom! I also made a few new ones…

This was created with water color and ink pen inspired by this pin.

I made this “D” with my friend Katie a while back. Check out my DIY and make one of your own!

A cool piece I did years ago just for funsies. Dug it out of a box it’s been sitting in since I moved in… I know, I know. UNPACK DAYE!!!!

FLOWER CROWNS! You know I love these ๐Ÿ™‚ I have a DIY on how to make them right HERE You can also find the green crown featured in my recent Tinkerbell inspired post, and the blue one from really old post that is still one of my favorite looks ๐Ÿ™‚

Here we have my most recent DIY adventure, the Wallflower mason jar! I had a lot of fun making this one, I even made one for my mom for Mother’s Day.

Tee-hee… okay, so I keep my cat’s litter box in my bathroom (appropriate, right?) but I hated having the nasty scoop just lying around somewhere soooo I got crafty! I found this scoop with it’s own bucket on Amazon, then glued flowers on it to match the rest of the decor, and hung the sucker on the wall. Sneaky? I’m going to say yes ๐Ÿ™‚

Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t make the cat box any prettier. HOWEVER, Tidy Cats most awesomely provided me with this litter: Tidy Cats LightWeight with Glade Tough Odor Solutions Clean Blossoms which you can learn more about here > https://www.tidycats.com/innovationlab/

I have to say, it’s not an overpowering smell like with other scented litter I’ve used, which I like. It gives a fresh smell to my new and improved fresh looking bathroom! And, obviously, it does its job well, strong clumps, odor locking, and my tiny muscles do notice and appreciate its lighter weight ๐Ÿ˜›

Now, if only they could make litter that can’t leave the box, like those shopping carts that lock! Dear Flitwick takes great pleasure in making the biggest mess he possibly can  -___-

Here’s the wall again! I’m super happy with how it turned out; and so glad I was inspired to make it happen by, of all things, springtime smelling cat litter!
